Message from School Librarian

Mrs. Tosto
Hi friends! I am Mrs. Tosto and I will be the librarian on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This will be my 21st year at Silver Firs Elementary.  In my years of teaching I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and I was a Literacy Coach for several years.  I live in Snohomish with my husband, two daughters (ages 15 and 11), wild dog Winnie and our slow moving kitty Melly.  Running, reading, baking, traveling and spending time with my family are some of my favorite things to do.

Mrs. Dire

Hello! I will be the librarian on Mondays and Tuesdays. I have been teaching in the Everett School district since 2004. I have taught kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade; worked as a reading and math intervention teacher; and was a Literacy Coach here at Silver Firs. I live in Edmonds with my husband, my 3 daughters (ages 15, 13, and 11), sweet dog Annie and 1 grumpy turtle. Of course I love reading and I set aside time to read every day, but I spend most of my free time these days at my kids' sporting events. When I can, I love to get outside and work in the garden and go for long walks or runs.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
